I figured we'd split Tulsa and Houston one way or the other, so with that said, we're right where I had hoped. The downside is that ECU is a lot better than I expected. I still think we can win out, but I think we're going to drop either UTEP or ECU, but not both.

Agreed. The game that makes me the most nervous the rest of this season is ECU. My worry about UTEP has subsided a bit with their recent conference losses.

7-5 and a tie with Houston for the CUSA West title. They win the tiebreaker again and play in the conference title game.

I don't see Houston getting to 6 conference wins, they'd have to win 3 out of their last 4 conference games (at Memphis, vs, UCF, vs. Tulsa, at USM). You honestly see them getting more than 2 wins out of that slate? We get to 7-5 and we'll win C-USA West.

I've only seen Houston play once this year. But, to me, they're coming together under the freshman quarterback Piland. So, yes, I see them winning three of their remaining four.

I vote for you to be right, though.

pretty tough schedule-they've got Southern Miss, Texas Tech, Tulsa and UCF left. This thing is still wide open. I can even see a possibility of Tulsa, UH and SMU in a 3 way tie with 3 losses each.

I said 7-5 before the season. I am thinking 6-6 now
