...If we play a bowl game in Dallas, i'd rather it be at the cotton bowl.

Yeah. It'll look like a sellout with our 16,000 fans in a 92,000 seat stadium. Been there. Done that. TEAM/me.....................................you're crazy if you think our TEAM would want to bowl in Dallas.

16,000 people or 92,000 people, i'd rather see SMU vs. Big 10 (Dallas Football Classic), than SMU vs. WAC (Hawaii Bowl) or SMU vs. MWC (Armed Forces Bowl).

Players want Hawaii although they would like to be conference champs and go to Liberty. Fans want to watch their team and would prefer a closer bowl so they could really enjoy bowl festivities with their families and attend the games. This isn't about the fans at this point since there are so few. Maybe in the future.

Travel wise and time slot wise I'd rather see us in the Armed Forces so more SMU fans can attend due to location and time of year. Weather wise, Hawaii Bowl (obviously) but Hawaii is scary good offensively this year and I don't think we'd stand a chance provided they get a big injury. A MWC team (Air Force, Utah) or possibly Army would be a good, competitive game. I was glad SMU went bowlnig last year but hated that it was on Christmas eve.
