Malzahn loves the NW Arkansas area so Tulsa would be to his liking, but I just do not see him taking anything less than an AQ school in a good conference.

I didn't say "currently" did I? Although that could have been inferred, that's not what I meant. Perhaps I should have said "in previous years..."

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/01/11/sport ... leges.htmlPITT TRIES AGAIN The University of Pittsburgh will introduce Tulsa Coach Todd Graham as its coach Tuesday afternoon. A person with direct knowledge of the deal said that Graham and Pitt had agreed on a six-year contract.
At Tulsa, Graham compiled a 36-17 record and ran a wide-open spread offense. Graham hired Gus Malzahn at Tulsa, where Malzahn worked for two seasons before becoming Auburn’s offensive coordinator.
The hiring of Graham comes in the wake of one of the most disastrous coaching searches in recent history. Soon after hiring Mike Haywood away from Miami (Ohio) in December, Pittsburgh fired him after he was arrested on a domestic violence charge in Indiana.
Graham’s most impressive coaching accomplishment might have been reviving the moribund Rice program. In 2006, he led Rice to a 7-6 record and a bowl game, the program’s first since 1960.

And Tulsa remains the stepping stone... Next year's game up there just got a little easier.
