It pays to advertise on PF..... Brad -- thanks for the update.....I took note of your contact info as well. Have spoken with several vendors in the past who need to know the procedure has been changed.

The Applebees by my apartment (in Irving off of 183) is loaded with SMU merchandise. Needless to say I was both shocked and pleasantly surprised. However, most other places I go to that rep other schools usually will have a ton of Big XII teams and even more TCU/Houston stuff than SMU. Bummer.

I usually don't see any coog crap, but I kinda understand all the big 12 stuff, just seems they could throw in some of the home team while their at it.

The phony pony is my nemesis. I, of course, deny any CLC applications that have the phony pony. I just ask them to resubmit with the correct logo. That said, some do pop up. I sent that ad to the B&N and they told me they didn't send it out, so if anyone has the original e-mail, send it to me as proof. Yes, the new cheerleading outfits do have the phony pony. I have made them aware that it's incorrect - and it was an SMU alum that made them!

Has anyone run across an SMU autograph football? I'm looking for one. They have some nice ones at the SMU Wal-Mart - but they're UT and A&M - no SMU. Only $20.00 and they look really good. If you have a lead, let me know. Thanks. And thanks for the info, Brad.

The issue has and will continue to be demand and people who work for these stores not wanting to hurt your feelings. Period. They don't carry a lot of it because they can't move it.
First, notice that the bookstore has recently enlarged it's smu merchandise area. Why did they do that? Because demand is increasing.
Look at the Student Union in the Galleria. Nice store that has moved around the mall a few times. I went in Sunday and they have moved again to a smaller space. They used to have a lot of SMU gear. What I noticed was they reduced their SMU merchandise by 80-90%. Why? Did SMU's licensing become stricter over the last six months? Of course not. The issue is simply they had to reduce some of their stock because they had less square footage and logically they picked the areas that didn't sell as well.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

We need a signature win.
Contrary to what froggy will tell you, they didn't have one till they beat OU. In a moment of candor, they will tell you things changed after that.
We need to keep winning consistently and we need a signature win.

The girl stocking that area of the store told me they had some Mustang balls, but sold on the first day, she said they would order some more.

Another spirit group - maybe the dancers - have had a uniform with a big horseshoe on the front. I don't think a horseshoe has anything to do with "Mustangs" - now a hoof print might - but not a horseshoe with holes for nails. This dancing group also sponsored a camp for little girls during basketball season at which they received a t-shirt - with an UPSIDE DOWN horseshoe - and we all know what that means. I don't think some of our groups put much thought into some of their ideas/designs. Do we have an adult (familiar with SMU) in charge?

Brad, you'll be happy to know that I just informed the guys at Rally House in Fairview to call you so that they can expand their selection. They seemed very interested in carrying more.
Looking forward to seeing more than 5-6 shirts and some kids' hats up there!
