Went three years ago when we played there. End of the season, Bennett’s last game. Memphis was actually bowl bound. Very thin crowd. We moved to an area near the SMU bench (looked like the SMU fan area). NO problems moving around.

The fans at Memphis were very friendly and appreciative that we were there.

And I think I got jtstang’s mrydel ticket.

I remember that game, too, Ponyte...Memphis were SCREAMING "HOLDING!!" on every single play...very annoying...and we lost, in what? 5 OT's?

While I enjoy hanging with my road crew gang, it looks like the same small bunch that always goes. And after the game, there will be people on Ponyfans complaining "we don't travel well, what BCS league will want us?"

Almost any type of crowd will be more than we had at UAB in 2009. We had more at Marshall that year, and Huntington was much harder to get to.
