I hope Big 12 rebuilds and Big East rebuilds. Backfill each with cusa and MWC elite. If they merge, we are toast, especially with WVU getting the shaft. IF WVU stays in BE, I think they can save that conference with what they've got now. Heard a rumor that at their meeting tonight, they are thinking of adding Nova football.

Big East- TCU, Louisville, Cincy, WVU, USF, plus 4 to get to nine (UCF, ECU, Memphis, Nova or Temple)

Big 12 - Baylor, ISU, Kansas, K st, UH, SMU, BSU, AFA, CSU or Tulsa

In reality, and unfortunately, I see them merging to form the 5th BCS conference, and there are just to omany good schools looking for too few spots.

Arkansas comes out way ahead. More exposure in two of their top recruiting areas, and playing Missouri and A&M each year instead of Alabama and Auburn.

ESPN radio reports today that Oklahoma is trying to hold on and stabilize things to keep the Big 12 intact. Their conditions are that Beebe must be immediately fired and a new commissioner installed. All teams including A & M take a deep breath and sit down and discuss this matter out looking at the costs, revenue sharing.....etc. with out all the impulsive reactions.

SEC did the same thing with A&M. They don't want to be seen as "tampering". I'm sure that Missouri is playing this thing out with the Big 12. No reason to make a move if you don't have to.

I read where Mizzou donors have $160 milllion to $200 million ready to go but they do NOT want to go to the Big East. The question I have is how much SMU donors could raise in a pinch, if necessary?
