That's what it will boil down to for whoever is our coach next year. The Godfather must approve! 8)

Don't know if anyone ever mentioned but I remember Ron Meyer being a decent or good coach but a master recruiter. He was smart enough to let his coaches do the coaching.
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

Yep, we could have JJ be the offensive coordinator and Rick be the "coach" so he can do the recruiting

anybody who has followed his career as opposed to looking at his overall record or his wikipedia page would tell you the following; he is a below average coach, a good recruiter, a horrible evaluator of talent, and has left pissed off alumni, administrators, and fans at all of his stops.

I was living in Seattle when the NCAA investigation regarding the NCAA pool was going on. At that point, his welcome was fairly worn out in Seattle with Boosters and the admin. The Seahawks are a big deal now, but then the Huskies were "THE" team to watch in the city.

Neuheisel has had measurable success and is a great recruiter but would be far too controversial a hire given the Udub mess.

All may be very true but when someone is out there looking for a position for which I qualify I would hope they would not base their decision on a wikipedia page.

Who knows JJ may try to hire him as a coach and recruiting coordinator as a last effort which would turn out to be a disaster imo for the reason Dwan gave.
