When you say "we" , who do you mean? Jones is the HC, so it all flows from there. If he doesn't want to change the setup, who would mandate that he does? Hart? CofC?

I think it is a great idea - just don't know who would push that it be done...

Why would any young recruiter want to come to SMU for 1-2 seasons when June's is going to be gone in 1-2 seasons? One of these seasons is going to be a lame duck season and this staff isn't likely to be retained by a new coach.

You guys are terribly creative at find ways to cover up from the fact that June fails in almost every important aspect of his job. Cut you loses, buy him out, start to build from there.
