Someone over at the athletic department should be fired for this garbage. Really small-time amateur move that disappoints and damages goodwill. Unveiling announcements can deliver buzz and excitement, but if the message does not live up to the hype, you've harmed the brand more than helped it. This is P.R. and Advertising 101, which, I understand we teach. There is no excuse for this.

useless. I actually came back to check after my meetings excited about something worthwhile and that would signify a transformational event in our athletic program, and this.

Absent what has happend with our basketball program and promoting it, our athletic department doesn't get much else.
