No, I don't. You said Navy would win the AAC every other year once they join, and when I said I'd bet you on that you backed off.

My broader point was to call you out on your "Everything sucks, look at me!" mantra that you've adopted lately. Sorry if you took it the wrong way

I don't think he has a "Everything sucks, look at me!" mantra. But you seem to be trying to be the sheriff without a badge. Come on ECM.

Ok chief, here's the rundown...we sucked for a quarter century, June came and took us to four straight bowls and got us into a better conference but got disinterested during the process. If we suck this year, send him back to the islands. If we have a winning season and go to another bowl then he's back with a solid recruiting class (if it sticks) and a ton of returning starters for 2015.

It's one thing to point out things that are wrong with our program or our conference....yes, June's recruiting efforts have been lackluster since the ASU debacle with only a recent uptick this summer, and yes, our conference affiliation doesnt pay us nearly as much as we thought it would when we joined the Big East in 2011...but the constant pessimism and harping on the negatives gets old and tiresome. No, the AAC isn't the SEC. But Navy isn't going to walk in and dominate the conference unless there's another drastic realignment. UCF, Cincinnati, and Houston (despite last night) are traditionally solid programs that have made considerable investments in their respective football programs recently. USF will soon be back and a contender as well. We're in a great position with our location, facilities, and academics to compete with those programs for the AAC title and a shot at one of the six New Year's bowls. Considering the fact our admin made ZERO commitment to football from 1987-2007 we're very lucky to be where we are and have an opportunity to make the next step. I hope we succeed.

I also hope we score more points than Baylor tomorrow, but I wont make any bets on that.

WOW! USF is down to West Carolina, 14-3 early in the 2Q. Terrible.

I love it when people unilaterally appoint themselves as the most [insert complimentary description here] poster on the board. Therefore, this was a very enjoyable post, thank you.

Memphis is beating Austin Peay (FCS) 56-0 with the 4th quarter to go, perhaps their HC (former TCU Co-OC) finally has the offense clicking, but then again Austin Peay won 0 games last year, 2 in 2012, 3 in 2011. On the bright side they aren't laying a Houston

Villanova's football team went to the D1AA championship game not long ago and they frequently make the playoffs.

Villanova won the FCS Championship in 2009, so they aren't the worst team. That coach lost them the game with trying to go for the 2pt conversion. ECU pulled away from in-state school 31-7 at half. USF is looking for embarrassment, losing to W. Carolina 17-16 at the half. W. Carolina won two games last year, and I think one of those opponents wasn't even D1.

Forgot USF got blown out by an FCS opponent in their opener last year, so I guess this is an improvement?
