ECU has always tried to schedule ACC teams and they have taken their lumps over the years, but their goal has been to eventually get that ACC invite. If we ever want to play with our old SWC rivals again...nothing wrong with ECU's blueprint.

ECU had a long running series with NCSU and usually lost, but they won a game in Raleigh back around 1990 and a riot broke out afterwards. The series ended and I really don't know if they have played since that time, but I know they have been playing VT and UNC and I think this year's win at VT broke a 4 year losing streak. ECU just kept working until they got competitive and could eventually beat those ACC teams. They might find it harder to schedule them in the future if they keep it up.

That's right, there's nothing wrong with ECU's blueprint. Get some talent and legit schemes in here and we can start beating legit opponents as well.

he was just telling the truth. he was right.

fact is, beating anybody helps recruiting. getting beat by 60, a&m or unt hurts recruitting.

sorry sbsmith, the schedule is not "just fine".
sorry bud. June would have never been ready to play old-swc teams, EVER. Meanwhile UTSA, ECU, Texas St, NDSU etc can play the big boys and compete? Happens every year.
