Any old excuse will do. VT ran through there defense. Who on their defense was hurt? People are saying today about how well their 3rd string QB is playing the first game after they lost their 2nd string QB so apparently one week is good enough for them. It was a bad loss no matter how you look at it.

Valid point, but I still respectfully disagree simply on the grounds that all P5 conference champions would be in the playoff. Seems pretty straightforward.
