6:00 PM (actually 5:00 PM), on a Friday evening, Central Expressway, the Friday before a three day weekend, ineffective information effort on plastic bags--especially for visiting team guests--equals a cluster. TV is simply not fan friendly to those actually trying to attend a game, that should start at 7 or 8 PM on a Saturday night.

We can play this silly game of oneupmanship about how someone shows up an hour before kick-off and they got to their seats. However...I've been to every home game since Ford Stadium opened and I have never seen the disaster that occurred today.

This was total incompetence on someone's part from the logistics level of SMU. Even the staff was dumbfounded. A statement needs to be made and an apology. Sorry for the few old bogies on here with their "get of my lawn" rhetoric. It was a terrible look for our school in our most high profile game of the season.

No you are just used to seeing SMU play before 15,000. SMU Fans are the one's that need an attitude adjustment. Again, anybody prioritizing SMU Football will be able to make kickoff. Anybody prioritizing the SMU Boulevard will probably be late for kickoff when we play Big 12 teams because 10,000 SMU fans are used to putting the Boulevard First. I've been the approximately 400 SMU games home and away and made 399 out of 400 kickoffs

SMU has forgotten how to manage big crowds because they haven't had much experience with them. However, there was a problem in the garage on SMU Boul. and Airline. Police were stopping traffic. Perhaps there were some unforeseen problems.

I did get a laugh when the shuttle bus from Mockingbird pulled up by Moody and some security parking guys by barricades were arguing with the driver that he should not be there. Driver told them to let us get off and then they would figure it out. I pointed out to the driver that he might want to show the parking police the poster sign they guys were leaning against that said Shuttle Bus Drop Off.
