Defending himself by trying to point the finger at another coach with his own issues is the equivalent of my son explaining something he shouldn't have done by saying someone in his class did something worse. It doesn't work with parents, and it doesn't work with athletic directors.
His PR guy must have had a heart attack when GP said this.
