Perhaps the coaching staff was busy this week thinking about game cox and not USF.*
* no I don't really think this

I'm sure the coaches are beside themselves.

At risk of being called names...I expected more out of everyone involved. Guess I'm some evil realist.

I too am disappointed that we lost. I hoped we would score 35 to 40 points today. I thought a strong offensive showing might be enough to win. Nevertheless, we all knew that winning would be very tough this year. And, we went into this game being the underdog by a couple of touchdowns. I just hope we keep the recruits that have verbally committed to us this year. I like this coming first full class of Chad Morris and staff. And, I still look forward to strong sports teams in the near future. We are headed in the right direction. Pony Up!!!

To the guy who said he's not going to the game on Saturday, what does that accomplish? You call out fans and then proudly state you aren't going because it makes you mad? Don't be a hypocrite.
Most surprised by the pitiful offense. Sutton should be getting 6-8 deep balls minimum per game. Mix in some trick plays...something to try and light a spark.

sounds like next year's class is already coming together as a group and they have to be thinking they stand a good chance of earning early playing time

I can't decide what I am more sick of: SMU losing or the crappy SMU fan.
I am tired of the fan that does nothing but [deleted] on this forum. The cupboard was bare when HCCM got here. I know some people were hoping for a miracle season, but most were realistic. I had no expectations, but I started getting optimistic until JMU and I realized this season was going to go the way most expected.
There is no offensive line or defensive line to speak of. There are no athletes on defense. You can scheme offense all you want, but you need athletes to play defense. This team sucks and there isn't a damn thing anyone can do about it right now. Unfortunately, HCCM can't forfeit the rest of the games and unfortunately HCCM can't come out and publicly say most of these kids simply are not good enough to beat D1 competition. That is just the way it is. Therefore, they are going to continue to show up and try their best and it will probably be good enough to win another game or two but that is it.
Since I am on a roll,I am also tired of the crappy fans that do go to the games. I want to note I am not going to the game Saturday on the advice of my wife. Every game just makes me mad. The fans that don't show [deleted] me off. The fans that do [deleted] me off just as much. Half the crowd sits on their hands. The other half waits for disaster and acts like we are the only team in America that has an incomplete pass, a turnover or occasionally doesn't have the lead. The atmosphere sucks and the empty seats are part of it, but the seats with butts in them are mostly just as bad.
And before you ask, yes, I am on my third bourbon.
Slow clap!
