plus Morris recruited that Class in about 2 months with little previous relationship to the Class. You're seeing how our coaches develop relationship with these kids starting in their sophomore year-it makes a difference and its a factor in these classes getting better and better. The kids we are getting now have been on campus numerous times over several years

Plus, roughly speaking, approx 15-20% of the 2015 were "June's." Under the circumstances, Morris did a great job with the class.

Not that the first class was bad by any means... But just look at the progress made from having more time to recruit and build relationships with the kids. I read they just had a 4 star OL commit for 2017 who might be better than anyone in even the 16 class

We, of course, still have major depth issues at the DT position (I'm more concerned about LB quite frankly) but there's quality beef with Gentry, Minor, Green, the Juco transfer, and unfortunately McLaurin will probably have to be thrown in right away (unfortunate in that it would be ideal to give him a RS year). Jones will probably have to play too early also. Then there's the question of DE. I think Lawler is ok. I think one or both of the Scott twins could become the real deal but they are a year away most likely from making a big impact (I think we might see some flashes next year though). Then you have Gary who, after a RS year, might develop into a player. I'd like to see 2 big time DTs and 1 big time DE commit in 2017 (there will be others, but I'm talking potential all conference type players). And, finally, I'm at a loss at LB. If all we got in 2017 was the 3 above, a stud QB, and the rest LBs, I'd be happy.

We need three more DT's and another one from the JUCO ranks to start a logical rotation in and out of school.

No we've got the right numbers at DLine just not proven, quality performers. There is some potential for growth and decent size though. I really don't think DLine is our biggest problem. Its going to be LB and the secondary-and we are going to have to rely on a bunch of redshirt and true freshman-on the DLine-the freshman should be more complimentary additions.

In the video, Morris seems happy with his offensive talent (and battles for position). On defense, he touches on some areas with depth issues.

sounds excited about Proche and Alex Honey as 2 redshirts with great potential at Receiver. As he said Thomas has more ability than all of the receivers and we should see that this year because he got the Deer in the Headlites freshman year of experience. Now you'd expect him to make the big jump in production. Hopefully, we can balance the passing game this year. It will make all the receivers better.

Kind of surprised to hear the "depth" comment about Castille.

It was a compliment, actually. He said as soon as he comes back from injury they will have more depth. He's saying by virtue of him being good to go that the team is better at wr, not that he's slipping on the depth chart

The talent and depth at the WR position is by far the best on the roster. RB looks to be in good shape for the future as well. The entire rest of the roster needs to catch up.
