Having promoted, donated and cheered for new Natatorium for two decades, the shovels broke ground when the Lead Donors were secured and 80-90% of the needed funds were pledged. And, the new Aquatic Center announcement broke publically just a new weeks before the actual ceremony. Therefore, we may be closer to ground breaking than we might imagine.

In addition, if we are promoting ourselves to the Big XII, this commitment will help, while demonstrating to Chad Morris that he picked the right "horse/Mustang".
