Re: UH + SMU
They can schedule neutral site games at the pro stadiums in DFW and Houston (they already do), no need to invite G5 programs. They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security

Bump.
Re: UH + SMU
Correct. They can play one game in each city each year and that is if the same conference gets to schedule a big enough game to get one of those neutral site pro stadiums and no other conference would want to come to Texas to play a game. So I'd say if lucky a single conference would get two whole games in Dallas and/or Houston. IF UH and SMU were in, say the PAC 12. The PAC 12 would get games EVERY week once the conference play starts in the state of Texas, in two of the biggest recruiting grounds in the nation. Those recruits families could then possibly see their child play at home or just ~250 miles away every year and not have to catch a plane and fly two time zones. That's a much bigger advantage then say UCLA playing once every 5 years in Jerry's World. But you're correct. Location matters none and we are screwed. More reason to enjoy Saturday's win.
Re: UH + SMU
Have to admit. Good call.
