Charlie Strong Close to Becoming Coach at USF

Offensive Coordinator Sterlin Gilbert and OLine/Running Coordinator Coach Matt Mattox follow Strong to USF. Significance is that both are a satellite coaching tree from the Briles type offense-so USF should be opening it up eventually. Both worked for first Dino Babers after he left Baylor and then Phillip Montgomery at Tulsa. A lot of great athletes and warm weather to build that offense around. Of course, Quinton Flowers still has a year left and he carried the ball almost 200 times this year so its a tad different at least for one more year than the Baylor offense
