My apologies. I got in without paying but can no longer access it free. In summary, the article raises legitimate concerns on the negative impact on the travel requirements on teams without chartered planes and the non-stops flights, which benefit FB and BB. All others will have trips which last longer and require connecting flights, often during the school week. Less sleep, more stress, and mental health challenges are a result for most teams and student-athletes.

ADs and media companies didn't concern themselves with the needs for the entire athletic department. Sitting in Dallas, SMU will be less impacted, but coast to coast travel will likely take 6-8+ hours.

Our friends from India have an interesting take on what AAC schools could move to PAC 12

Spoiler alert -- they say SMU, Navy, UAB, and Rice. As I said, interesting. After SMU I see Tulane as the next logical pick for many of the same reasons -- program on the upswing, academics, located in recruiting hotbed, and, while it ain't Dallas, New Orleans is a decent media market and Tulane is competing with only one in-state P5 team.
