we should have just run the ball on 3rd and 4. we could have run more time off the clock.

We had every break possible to win that game. Shame on us.

you know, I wouldn't have run the ball twice and placed so much pressure on BLM on 3rd down on that next to last drive.
EVERYONE knows our D can't stop anything...we had great success passing the ball...BLM should have had 2 pass attempts...JJ played it conservative which I think was a mistake.

of all the things to complain about - you choose a meaningless INT when he's just airing the ball out?

just another chapter in the story of how miserable it is to be a Mustang fan.
I'm still looking forward to Annapolis.
We are getting closer to finding another win

We need to take the Mike F'in Leach approach and just go for it on 4th down the whole game. The odds of the opponent scoring on the next drive are going to be far greater than us failing on any 4th and 10 we will face the rest of the season.

that makes 3 games now we've gone up 14-0 and haven't been able to maintain the lead. it is absurd how terrible our defense is. it's hard to complain about our offense at all. if we just had a serviceable defense we might be able to call ourselves a football team.

I
I agree. In fact, I would have gone for the 1st down on 4th down. There was no realistic expectation that the D could stop them with no TOs and a mere 85 yards to go with 2 minutes.
