PJ has no idea on the defensive side of the ball. His biggest problem was that he never gave a damn about defense. If you recall his Navy defense surrendered more than 60pts to NTSU last year.
JJ has no idea on the defensive side of the ball. His biggest problem was that he never gave a damn about defense. If you recall his SMU defense surrendered over 200 rushing yards to Navy in the first half...
seriously. but give Navy more credit than that. they are near the top in nation rushing-wise. north texas community college just sucks.
Maybe because that's the only damn thing they do.

And that's the one thing that keeps me going this season - the knowledge that we aren't even the worst program in the D/FW area.

actually First Half Stats
the great Paul Johnson Wishbone today got 146 Total yards. 95 yards rushing and 9 First Downs. This same type of scenario has gone on game after game. I still think the offensive genuis of Paul Johnson vaunted wishbone at a BCS level conference is in question. Congratulations to the Defensive Coordinator which was never the issue debated. I have no idea how you win with 146 yards Total Offense-he must be an offensive genuis.
ACTUAL FINAL STATS:
259 yards Total Offense
156 yards rushing
17 First Downs
Final: Virginia 24
Georgia Tech 17.

That's the same NTCC that had over 600 yards of offense against us last year. Try this on for size:
PB has no idea on the defensive side of the ball. His biggest problem was that he never gave a damn about defense. If you recall his SMU defense surrendered 601 passing yards to a QB who got benched later in the season last year...
I don't think that you can say that PB has never given a damn about defense.

I have been to almost every home game since '01... I am not attending another game as long as BLM is starting under center. I predict 4-5K tops for the Memphis game and most will be Memphis fans just like in Moody.

Yeah this is the 29th anniversary of Lance McIllhenny's great upset victory at Texas 20-6(and Ponyte's great clearing block). Just mentioned on ABC.

Memphis (State) did have a big turnout at the bball game last year. Kinda surprised me.
