A win is a win. Some bonehead plays for sure. (46-13) should be your final. Build on this and move forward. Jones was good. Does Davis ever look at DJ? Saw one attempt. I may get sick of all the sweeps in the offense very soon.

Great Blvd experience. Met more PF posters. Scary that some know who I am when my picture is not on the site.

In the small world category, I was speaking with a delightful couple and mentioned I had gone to NLR High School and he said he had graduated from Pine Bluff High in 1952. Not small world to have two Arkansas high school grads there, but to find someone older than I was simply astounding.

Did Nick Natour really start last nite as reported by smumustangs.com stats? Wasn't expecting that

Most surprising to me is to see the amount of playing time M. Kaufman is getting as a true freshman at a new position. He must be performing very well and I think it is great to have a PFs offspring making it big.

Hoopfan, has he played TE in the past?

SMU had lost 10 straight games I attended-I'm satisfied with the game. I thought SMU played better and with more effort than this thread indicated. Yes some youngsters made some mistakes which prevented what I thought should have been a blowout against a team that blew us out last year. I'd rather suffer with the youngsters growing pains than stick with guys who won't be around when the party starts. This is gonna be fun. That's what 2015 is about. Development-that's why we played so many players important snaps last nite. Relax and enjoy it for what is.

Was no one else concerned about the amount of SMU fans that showed up? Our students looked awesome but if you took out the green fans Ford would have looked really empty

I was actually more impressed with student turnout for a mediocre NTSU team than I was against No. 4 ranked Baylor. There are a lot of students on the grassy knoll and lining the brick wall-those kids are into the game and pounding on the foam padding. You add them into the stands and it would look more impressive but as long as they are into the game-no problem. Crowd was pretty much as I predicted. 18,000 + whatever the opponent brings. SMU may have beat that prediction by about 500-1000 or so. Seemed like an unusually large contingent of fans sitting on the grassy knoll for a game that wasn't sold out. I bet there were 1,500 fans out there and they probably had seats somewhere in the stadium. Did SMU even sell general admission to this game? In any event 25401 is heck of a lot better than all AAC games we've played in last 2 years

largest SMU home AAC crowd was around 23,000 against UH. Other than Houston, you have to drop down to the 18-19,000 range and well below. So this game produces a nice payday

I'm curious what the student section make up was age wise.

Was it mostly younger kids or older kids or a solid mix? My guess would be younger but I'm not plugged in anymore

Official attendence was 25K and change. That's ford at about 80% full. I'll take that every day right now.

This may be the second highest attendence number we see all season, so keep that in mind. Homecoming is the only other game I realistically see beating it.
