We don't need Prescott Line -the freshman RBs are averaging 4.2 yards per carry with a lousy OLine against a very athletic USF Defense. That hasn't been the problem

Is wish we tried our new people like the back up QB just to get experience. At this point in the season, there's no bowl chance so might as well put the young guys in as much as possible and kick JJs crap to the curb.

Flowers has the most rushing yards of any QB in div one this season. Pretty sure we gave JMU QB the same honor. Bet that's a first!

The majority of the posters in this thread need to step away from the ledge.

You're referring to the "6 wins minimum" crowd.

Just interesting that they have put Longoria instead of Line today. Somebody had indicated yesterday that a well known player was late for a meeting and wasn't making the trip - if true, it might have been Line.

Isn't it the coaches job to motivate his team?

Isn't it a good coaches job to take a bad team and at least show slow and steady improvement?

Better get back in that golf cart and start giving rides again, before he really sees what he got himself into with the empty stadium from here on out.

It must really suck to be you

In all honesty...it really sucks to be our team.

I am annoyed as hell at senor troll as much as the next guy, but he isn't spouting crap 100% of the time. On any play, there are no more than 3-4 guys on the field who give any indication that they either care to be out there or even know what the play is. I accept that we are undersized and lacking talent...but you also have to throw in extremely stupid and lazy to explain what we are seeing.

I believe this thing will get turned around at some point...but public statements indicating most of the players don't belong at this level et al might not be having the desired effect. Then again, that desired effect may just be to prepare the players to depart the pattern and show potential recruits they will have no problem both playing and probably starting as true freshmen. IF that is the intent...well...sucks for us fans.

Any coach making negative public statements about his players is a red flag. At best, shows he likes to make excuses. At worst, shows he's too mentally weak to take the heat himself, and takes the easy route to deflect blame from himself.

Man up and do the job you're getting paid 2 million dollars for, or go find a different profession.
