There are like 2-3 Defensive players that played today that can help us rebuild the defense. See you in 3 years since this thread will be refreshed. Of course, footballdad probably won't even be around next year. But we'll all get a good laugh in 3 years

yeah, yeah, 3 years. And if not 3 maybe 4, and if not 4 maybe ....... and our defense will still suck if Van Malone is the DC.

More importantly, let's see where this recruiting class actually ranks, compared to the rest of the AAC, come February.

Why do you bother trolling this site? Can't wait for your kid to be gone from the program and you moving on with him. Maybe he can transfer to EWU with Burcham and Cassel.

Trolling? My valid point is that Malone is a problem. You don't agree, make your case.

Your stupid kid comments just make you look like an insecure, and obviously jealous, kid.

Davis is not a qb. He takes way too long and only wants home runs. He has no idea how to check through progression. Coaches are horrible. Colbert in. Colbert out. Come on man. Team is ill prepared and lacks discipline. Morris is all over the place with his play calling and when something does work he goes away from it.

This bs of only 30 percent of offense installed is garbage. That tells me you lack the tools to be a head coach. I'll be sure to tell my next employer that I will only be at 30 percent for awhile and won't be 100 percent for four years. Sounds like a cop out and not taking blame for where the team is at. Coach Herman is a far better coach in his first year. Congrats to Houston for getting the better man.

Cry all you want but June was a far better coach. 63 zilch never happened and he never loss to d1aa teams.
We have plenty of talent to win.
Coach Morris is a great cheerleader but he is not ready for prime time head coaching.

With an all new defense - 3 wins?

Patterson somehow got wins with a ton of freshmen...most on defense. If you are good, you are good. Just because a kid is young doesn't mean he cannot contribute. We need players who can play!

Please don't compare Malone with one of the best defensive minds in all of college football. This is Malone's first crack at defensive coordinator,too-give him some of TCU's talented young freshmen and you might see a big difference.

I'm not. You misunderstood my post. I am saying NEXT year we can/could/have the possibility to be competitive with a roster full of freshmen on the defense. Depends on their talent.

Right this is the June lover that posted about 15 straight posts about EJ Holland sucking-presumably because he said that SMU under June Jones had a failed recruiting strategy several years ago. EJ Holland nailed it long ago. A good chance this is June's son

knuckleup should be renamed knucklehead.

This was the only game all year that felt like every game last year. They just gave up on the road. Sorry to see, but it happens.

New year brings new and better talent - especially on D. If Malone gets better talent and we keep seeing this kind of defense than I am guessing we will not have to worry about it - Chad will take care of it. That guy wants to win more than all of us combined.
