The Commitment was unveiled in January of 2002 The Commitment-The Athletics Master Plan to Win is a five year vision that is the most ambitious fundraising and ticket sales plan in the SMU athletic department`s history. New dollars raised by The Commitment have among other things, already allowed SMU to increase its recruiting and operating budgets and recruit and retain the very best coaches. The Commitmnet defines SMU`s commitment to excellence and the efforts being made to ensure its future success. There are three key components to The Commitment:.............

I just realized that the Commitment was a five year plan started in 1/02, and theoretically, if SMU does what I expect it to do next year, then the Commitment will look like a success and be touted as such, when it really hasn't been. And that will drive Stallion nuts, which I think will be funny. He'll be positively apoplectic.
