Yeah, I was reaching, but my understanding is we have some thing in the range of 30,000 alums in the DFW area. UT graduates about 5,000 a year these days, though they haven't alway been that big. My guess would be that maybe a fourth of those grads are from the metroplex area. So after 20 years, that would be 25,000 grads in the Metroplex. The previous 30 years probably generated another 25,000...so my guess would be that there are between 50,000 and maybe 70,000 UT grades in the DFW area. Now as I commented before, there are a lot of bandwagon type UT wannabes out there too. So from a fan base perspective they have a bunch more than us...but then the media attention helps with that too. Anyway, upward and onward...it's been fun. ![]()
I believe it is closer to 40,000 now
