I hope you remember that the next time you are lounging at the pool without a shirt on and a homosexual man forces you to have sex with him. Remember, you were teasing him by showing off your body, therefore you were asking for it.

Mustain enjoys visit to USC
The former Arkansas quarterback will make his transfer decision by May.
By Gary Klein, Times Staff Writer
February 16, 2007
After touring USC in a cart on Thursday, Mitch Mustain headed to lunch with former teammate-turned unofficial recruiting assistant Damian Williams.
Mustain, a quarterback who started eight games last season as a freshman at Arkansas, is contemplating transferring to USC this summer. Williams, who played with Mustain in high school and at Arkansas, transferred to USC in January.
"Just from an aesthetic standpoint I love being here," said Mustain, who visited with Coach Pete Carroll and assistant head coach Steve Sarkisian after arriving on Wednesday. "The business part of it is football and they've got a proven history with Coach Sarkisian developing quarterbacks — even their backups are successful.
"I think it says a lot about what they have here and the system they have."
Mustain, 6 feet 3 and 205 pounds, enrolled at Arkansas with hopes of duplicating the success he and Williams enjoyed in a no-huddle, wide-open passing attack at Springdale (Ark.) High. Arkansas hired Mustain's high school coach, Gus Malzahn, as offensive coordinator, but the Razorbacks instead used a run-oriented attack built around tailback Darren McFadden, the Heisman Trophy runner-up.
Malzahn is now co-offensive coordinator at Tulsa, another place Mustain is considering.
Mustain, who passed for nearly 900 yards and 10 touchdowns last season, would not be eligible at either school until 2008. He said he would make his choice by May.

Rumors are amazing. Although I seriously doubt it, one Arkansas message board is saying that Mustian has decided to return and play for the Razorbacks. I would imagine if he did, he would be beating to a bloody pulp on the first day of 2-a-days.
***EDIT*** The UA message board is now celebrating his leaving for USC.

I seriously doubt if Mustain will ever see the field for USC unless it is in a mop up roll, and probably not then. He has far greater issues than having to perform as a QB. He needs to learn to perform as an adult. I wish him luck. He has some tools to work with but also has some "tools" control his actions. I would predict he ends up being a McCown type story.

I was talking to a USC fan yesterday when he told me, and naturally I said that's a dumb move on the kids part, as he will never see the field except for garbage time, especially with all the all-americans Pete Carroll gets to that program. And of course the guy was like "Yea, but Carroll plays all his freshman, and everyone gets a shot to see the field, just look at Reggie Bush and Lendale White...they were freshman and they beat out 2 seniors."
Ok, they beat out 2 seniors because they were clearly better than whoever the seniors were. But Mustain better than Sanchez? Hmmmn, and doesn't USC have another couple of stud QBs in the wings? He should have gone to Tulsa, taken over for Paul Smith when he leaves and play for his old coach. But I'll still wish him good luck.

Man if Coaches gave up on players like Mustain after a true freshman year in the SEC there wouldn't be enough players to field a team. I'd take him-some you guys are so sure he will never see the field. He obviously has more skills than just about anyone in the Country. Coaching is what they pay the Head Coach for. There are a lot of kids in the NFL Hall of Fame who were being doubted after their freshman season-including Eric Dickerson.

Stallion, none of my statement is based on his talent and ability. It is based on his head and his mother. If he can overcome those items he will be ok but I do not forsee that. Wait and see what Carroll does when Mustain FOIs his telephone records. Whoops, I guess he will be ok because USC is private.
Why not call him a quitter like McCown?

yeah but based upon what I've seen from the Freedom of Information reports-doesn't it seem like both he and his Momma had every reason to raise hell with Arkansas. I mean it appears to me that Nutt and his buddies were way way out of line with some of the actions and comments which have only now been revealed

Maybe. Problem here in Arkansas is that apparently the only confirmation for fact is 2 rumors of similar substance. It is hard to tell what is going on. Of course there are Nutt Haters, Nutt Lovers, Mustain Haters and Mustain Lovers. And they are all different. I am not so sure that Mustian was mistreated nearly as badly as was Malzahn, but I have no solid basis of knowledge for any opinion. It will probably all come out someday, but from my view point any time a player actively on the squad but perhaps unhappy for not playing enough would write a book in which he says many derogatory things about his teammates and coach, he leaves himself open to criticism. He openly told the team he did not want to associate with them and openly riduculed his fellow players. This was all before the fall out even began, then it just snowballed.
PS. When I likened him to McCown, that was kind of a compliment. My thought is that he will eventually end up at a smaller school where he will showcase his talents and move on to the pros.
