I joined in 2000 when I was told that joining would get me good seats in Ford if I bought season tix. So I bought 11 of them, and was not happy with the seats, felt like I 'd been lied to. So I unjoined. Simple as that.

I have no complaints with that. And you know you always have a good seat available as long as I am there.

I do not think any of us can brag about making too much noise. During one game last year I had 3 ladies (cougars) sit down next to me and they began to call out (not real loud) to Rusty Burns during the game. He turned, gave them a big smile and wink and went back to coaching. They got up and left. That is from 8 rows up on the 50. At first I was stunned by his reaction during the game but then more stunned that he could actually hear them without any difficulty.

Just talked to Vicki Hill, who said the quote Blog pulled from the story was not entirely complete.

Everyone saw the quote from the story that Blog used:

"Hill said fewer than 10 athletes last year had their files sent to the faculty committee for approval. One was rejected. Only prospective students who rank very low in both grades and test scores go directly to the faculty committee."

However, Hill said one clarification was left out of the story: "The one rejected file was a non-qualifier who never cleared the NCAA Clearinghouse."

He could hear them because he really isn't connect to the coaches box. Obviously, he needs to be paying more attention to the game.
