Totally disgusting...a perfect end to homecoming, I hope all that made it can see just what a debacle this has become. Drive home safely.

First, why is Justin running out of bounds after a 35 yard run? Had he stayed in bounds, there is another 20-30 seconds run off the clock after it restarts for the first down.
Second, why do we pass on our last play instead of running whatever RUNNING play we wanted...option, kneel down anything.
I know Rice was in FG position pretty quickly in their last drive, but while I will not put this loss entirely on coaching, I do feel that coaching has not helped us win a game all season.
Please get us a quality coach for next year.
Don't have as much of a problem with him running out of bounds as the fact on our final "drive", we were consistently snapping the ball with 10-13 seconds left on the play clock. This has happened several times this year when we are trying to run out/down the clock. That falls completely on the coaches.

Just can't learn to finish. Too many close games.. We should be around 5 wins this year. Ridiculous.

It was argued quite some time ago that you can't blame bonehead plays on the coaches, like Henderson running out of bounds to catch a kick off against UTEP, but, I stand firm, a "Heads Up" player is coached. The quarterback needs to be the most cognizent of the clock and before going in on the last drive, Bennett or Rusty needed to say, "let's work the clock". I would think that would have been a theme for oh so many weeks considering we keep losing in the last two minutes...

We seem to have a reoccuring problem scoring in the 4th quarter. Last two game no points when the game is on the line.

Any sense of how many fans are at the game today...sounds pretty vacant?? tell-tell sign is when you can hear 1 fan making a comment from the stands...
at the beginning of the game, about 15,000. By the fourth quarter, couldn't have been more than 5,000.

I could argue that it was raining at the game today, but that doesn't make it true. The announcer at the UH game said it best "players are going to make mistakes, but it is a coaches job to correct them."
