well you'll find out you don't know as much about college football as you think you do when he has to run a program by NCAA recruiting restrictons.

Houston Nutt was the guy we were going after. We offered him the job, we were talking to Sexton, was a done deal and Ole Miss came in and stole him for us. Nutt was the WOW I was refering to. Personally a guy with 10 years of winning in the SEC coming to SMU would be a WOW, but thats me. Looks like him beating LSU was the worst thing that could have happened to us.

Looks like we are now going after backup plans and making a strong push for Paul Johnson at Navy.

But then again, my info was wrong before, hopefully it is wrong again.

Why? Would he have STAYED at ARK had they lost to LSU?

Johnson is the best candidate, I've watched his teams for years. No way he doesn't win and win big in CUSA.
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.”- Jalen Jones

Challenge! He is a good candidate, but not the best.

Challenge accepted. Who is your candidate of choice?

I will be your source. First I need season ticket to the Cowboys, and Club passes. And please know I am usually wrong.

Dont listen to mrydel, I would be honored to be your source, sir, for the same price, and I am usually right. Or at least more often than not. I am not only a good source, I have lot's of sources, myself.

Just last night after the womens basketball game a little birdie whispered to me that I was going to be very happy on Monday. I have NO FREAKING CLUE what they meant by that, but one can only conjecture that there will be some sort of announcement on Monday, and the news will be good enough to make me happy. The birdie in question didnt mention any names, and really has no way of knowing what coach I'd like to see here, but whomever it is, they are allegedly going to make me happy. On Monday. I would prefer that our new football coach make me happy in September and October, maybe even December of next year, but for now I am willing to settle for being happy on Monday

Was that too much detailed information? I can be more vague, if you would prefer.

Johnson has the best coaching job in college FB with all due respect for BC$ B$

Stallion? When did you ever get to tell me you told me so? Wait, good coll on the 6-6 season. Even my call for 2 wins was WAY OFF

Forget these guys, I will be your source. There has been way to much rampant speculation and rumormongering here and you need a source to cut through all of that crap--an honest source. I fit that bill. I never know what is going on and I will tell you that up front, and that you should have no expectations that anything I say as a source will come to pass. No other source offers that kind of honest analysis.
