I'm impressed. It's the second highest attendance for a bowl game thus far, only behind Texas vs. Arizona State.

Something is not right about the announced crowd. TCU averages about 31,000 a home game. UH averages about 21,000 a home game. So where did the 62,000 come from. Possibly freebies. Anyone know?

UH brought a lot of fans...I'd estimate 30K-35K UH fans and about 15K-17K TCU fans...roughly 50K actual attendance if I had to guess (2/3 full). UH fans were loud and into the game...TCU fans not so much (really pi$$es me off).

Well if it makes you feel any better, the folks watching the game on TV probably couldn't notice the disparity. BTW, the TCU cheerleaders and/or pep squad girls got lots of air time. Don't think they ever showed any UH cheerleaders/pep squad girls.

I agree that it was pretty boring at times. I attribute that to TCU's stout defense, UH being w/o its offensive coaches for a month and the stale atmosphere of Reliant. I'd only want to play the biggest schools with large travelling fan bases (LSU, UT, Nebraska, etc.), or a bowl game, at Reliant.

Watching a game at an even temperature with no wind is only good when you're there on business and need to talk to others at the game.

The good thing is UH really helped itself and the conference with the attendance. The tailgating was incredible and the fan ratio reminded me of South Carolina and UH at the Liberty Bowl last year.

Did they show the two rappers that were part of the UH halftime show? It was...different...

Sorry, but I can't say as I didn't see the half time show.

Not surprising...I was there and barely noticed.
