typical SMU. It never ends. Next year will be a disaster with no experience at qb. Now it looks like JJ not getting a juco qb will be not unlike Doh not getting a point guard.

BigDaddy must be his agent

I believe one of our Hawaii friends posted something about the first thing June Jones did when he took the Hawaii job was bench or dismiss the starting QB and a WR. I am NOT saying Justin didn't earn these three strikes on his own, but it is obvious that Jones is not going to put up with crap from anyone. Hawaii went 9-4 that year........

No. We must work ourselves into a frenzy now, so that we can be in full overreaction by this weekend.
This is the point of having a message board!

JWILL's immaturity finally caught up with him. It's been there all along the past couple of years. Even though he's has put up great numbers he's has continued to show immaturity both on and off the field. Bennett just put up with his antics because he recruited him. But JJ is not putting up with that crap. As someone said earlier IJJWT (in JJ we trust)

Come on people. This is the nonsense that gives message boards a bad name. I'm not saying it is not true, because I don't know, but all this rumor and inuendo is laughable.
Given the DMN's love of SMU-bashing, they would be all over this like a rash. But nothing in Kate's article today except the Rice game.
On Monday, all will be clear. In the meantime, all you newbies can either stop making broad and vague statements or actually say what happened and how it is you know about it.

Accounts of what? I have not seen an account of diddly. Just allegations of "immaturity", "getting an agent". There is a phrase that is too crude for this board along the lines of "either express your bladder or remove yourself from the latrine."
If someone has something to say, say it, if not, find something else to do with your fingers (I'm sure you won't have a hard time).

Stallion is pretty good about not blabbing something he hasn't gotten intel for. Too bad!!! J Wil may have hurt the team, but he hurt himself more by whateever happened. We're talking about a guy who potentially just blew the opportunity to put up huge passing numbers. I hope its a leave of absence kind of thing to get his head on straight. Remember Mike Ford who put up J Wil kind of passing numbers, got hurt and was replaced by a guy named McIlhenny. Never saw the field again.

mustangsabu you seem a little irratated.... How about this for an allegations. The coaches have said that JWILL is suspended from spring practice and this is from the coaches. Is that enough of reliable sources for you.

You have four posts - you are the unreliable one.
Also, plural vs singular. Seriously.

This might explain the recent absence of bigdaddy from the boards. Great leaders on the field don't quit.

He most likely did not quit. At first, there were rumous he quit but it appears that, he is suspended for Spring practices. However, he probably just lost his starting job because of that. Vic has already said that we should not expect Jwill to be back - whether he meant for spring or forever I don't know. Apparently, his name is not on his locker anymore either.

BigDaddy's most recent post on ponyfans wrote:No, its not me! Reading all this crap makes me look like the smartest guy in the world. Some of you need to talk to the players more, but I know this is not going to happen. This is a friend/buddy board used for whatever reasons, I do not know, but obviously not to discuss logical football. There is no incoming freshman good enough to take JWills job. There is no QB on the team good enough to take JWills job. Just ask the QB's. Burns offense was to complicated for the backups we had last year, so what do you think JJ's offense is going to do to them? JWill does have a natural talent. It is understanding how to run an offense. Some QB's can run your offense and some QB's your have to create plays for them to run. JJ is impressed and will be impressed with JWill. All the other QB's better hope for a major injury. Not just the head shots he took on that dismill team last year.
There is no threat to JWill's starting position. Nobody is as good as JWill. Nobody else can understand JJ's offense. JWill is not having problems.

Where's biggin? Did Jon Tenuta ever get that second interview he coveted? Or is he still worried about it being a distraction to Georgia Tech?
