That guy was the uncle of someone on my freshman floor.
Did they ever figure out who?

I was wondering the same thing - Prosper is just south of Omaha, so Cedar Hill would be a hell of a hike.

Someone from ponystampede told me a couple of weeks ago that they had learned directly from Foles that SMU wasn't interested.

I do not know how ponystampede could say that without first contacting me.

Kind of like Doherty did with his point guard signings?

this was a little more underhanded as Erikson took over the program after the signing period had already begun and essentially left Foles out to dry at a point in time where he was lucky just to get a scholarship to another school.

no, Foles is no longer looking here, he is at the U of AZ....but i learned something interesting on my trip to Austin over fall break...Nick showed significant interest in coming to SMU at one point only to be squashed by the coaching staff, want to know WHY?...HE IS TOO BIG!!!!!!...WTF!
I guess the idea of having a 6'5" QB who can throw 70+ yrds and leg presses over 1300 lbs is less appealing then Mr Bo Levi or any other QB on our roster who obviously can throw over 80 yrds with extreme accuracy and who are all 7 feet tall and leg press cars for fun.
