And when they do that stupid "flip it mash it and rub it down" dance (you'll know what I'm talking about), kindly remind them that they are the ONLY college football team in Ft. Worth and so being "the best in town" is truism.

34k is a solid possibility when you guys get competitive. My guess is very few if any people on this board were around the last time both TCU and SMU were both solid programs.

There hasn't been a game when both SMU and TCU were strong in the same year since the late 40s. The series is one of the most overrated around with few Classics at least in the Last 60 years. And I've seen every one since 1964. It certainly would be interesting to see if SMU/TCU was a Classic matchup of quality teams.

It seems like we seem to swap places every decade or so since the 1960's. I would like to see a meaningful SMU - TCU game where each team is top 25. Hopefully I'll see one before I die.

34,000 would be closer to the number of girls and their mothers shopping at North Park and the Galleria during parents day.

1984? Both teams were pretty good that year.

And the time before that: 1947.

Sheesh. Too much suckage for both schools since then.

And how about that time in 97 when you needed one more win to get to a bowl game, but winless TCU chalked up one in the last game of the year 21-18. That was good times...

Well at least you... oh never mind. You still haven't gotten to a bowl yet?

No the good times was knocking Froggie High out of a potential BCS. I go to church in downtown Cowtown and they are still frosted at that one.

Your knock out cost us a low end bowl game. Our knock out cost you MILLIONS.

We win. We have to take them when we can.
