Again, YOU don't get it. My post had nothing to do with your season prediction
or who knows the most about football. It was a response to your post:

Yes I get your post precisely and my pre-season prediction has
everything to do with your incorrect views on my SMU support and my weariness
of the "everything sucks" mentality and fan message board posters pretending they
can evaluate football better than June Jones. Do any of them really think they
could sit down one on one with June Jones and talk X & O football with June Jones
and explain to him why he is wrong in his football evaluation of not starting
Justin Willis? Do they live in fantasy land?

and is about how you think that those who don't share yoru perfunctory feel-good
sunshine are somehow going to be negative about anythign and everything.
It shows that you don't understand the source of the negativity.

predicts 4 wins as starting point is somehow a "blind sunshiner".

Basically there are people on here that are negative about "anything and everything".

Are there areas to improve? Obviously YES!

I have had players parents tell me personally that they are advised to
"STAY AWAY FROM PONYFANS" because it is sooooooooo NEGATIVE!

Other parents have told me that "yeah I looked at it a few times and it
was so terribly negative" that they don't even bother.

Look this week we have so called "SMU Fans" asking people to
boycott the freaking TCU game. An SMU "fan" encouraging
SMU fans to not attend an SMU game when we are 2-1!

Yeah couch'em and I am the "Bad Guy"!....LOL

Yeah I am the weirdo....not the guy on an SMU Fan Site encouraging
our own fans to not attend SMU games!

It's a pathetic joke.....But I know what we got....we've got some sorry azzz fans....no surprise
there are sorry azzz people in every walk of life.....(ps...dont misread my words....you are not
a sorry azzz fan....but anyone calling for a boycott at 2-1 is in my opinion!)

emphatically "I Told Ya So"......but really I don't care if Stallion wants to
live in a fantasy land where somehow/someway he thinks he deserves credit for anything.

How are you going to feel if we don't win another game this year and Jones starts his tenure at SMU going 3-21 in two years? I mean at this rate it is a distinct possiblity, with our wins having not been particularly impressive. If that comes to pass is he still going to be beyond reproach in your mind?

I think we have some backdoor conference tie in with the Eagle Bank Bowl in DC as well if Army or Navy go elsewhere or are ineligible. Let's look at it this way. If we beat Navy not only do we have a chance to make ourselves Bowl eligible, but to give Navy another loss toward possible bowl ineligibility. They'll have at least one more to ND (I'm guessing which would give them four on the year).
And for the record, I don't care if we get invited to the Pink Taco Bowl, I'd accept the bid. I'm not going to quibble about what bowl we go to, just thank you and where's the bar.

Well just like we are discussing...I stated I think "We must win at least
4 games" this year. Just two wins this year would be a major disappointment. With
that said I would continue to support the team and this staff and not throw in the towel
after two seasons. I think we have the right guy, the right staff, and the right AD.

Am I infallible?....Certainly not!

Is Stallion infallible?....Well I think so!

Honestly JT I don't see that as a "distinct possibility".

The next 5 games are going to be very difficult.....
The gloomers will be in hog heaven...
We may lose 5 straight, hopefully we can win one of them.
If we win even one...then we've got 3 wins going into Nov.
And November should be better for us.

I didn't like the 3 and 2 pass.
I thought we should have run.
But I don't pretend to know better than June Jones on how to play call a football game.

I think people are going to have opinions, but for some balance and perspective I think
it's important to point out who is 2nd guessing the man's football decisions at this early stage. Some guy thinks year before 1-11 Justin Willis would of made all the difference
in the world....well ok....but who ya gonna trust? Justin Willis' Uncle posting on the message
board or a guy that is a well known offensive guru, taken his team to the Sugar Bowl, and
coached in the NFL?

And you answered my question fairly. As for my predictions, well you already know that I don't make them, cop-out or no. And for the record, you never heard me question Jones' football knowledge.

The only reason I asked is that I seem to recall at one time you were a pretty big Bennett supporter and later changed your tune about 180 degrees. What makes you think you won't with Jones?

we are all entitled to our OPINION. i like jj but i do question his blind loyalty to bm.

i don't want to go watch the beatdown in cowtown in person. so sue me. it's on tv. last out of town game i went to was the opener against rice last year. didn't go too well.

i would love to sit down and talk to jj about his choice of qb and why j will didn't have the ability to run this offense better than bm.

no one is infallible. jj knows more about football than i ever will but i'm allowed to disagree with him.
