I don't think the question is "Who among the fans thoought we would go 4-1 and to a bowl with Padron at QB". The bigger question is "How did June Jones and Morrison miss the boat on Padron?" How many times has June been asked in the past year and a half about Logan Turner, Braden Smith and Padron when we were struggling so much with production and catchable passes and int's. and the losses that accompanied those problems. Credit June for the turnaround but how many times did he say Padron wasn't ready and didn't know the offense including after he had won a couple of games. Sometimes, even the guru of quarterbacking misses so I don't feel too bad. The questions is, "How many other guys are on the roster and just need a chance?" The future is bright!r

BJ Lee returning kicks. I want to see the ball in his hands. I'd like to see EJ Drewery get a shot anywhere on the field too. Hopefully he can add enough weight to get some time at OLB next year. The guy has too much size/athleticism to keep off the field

I think this is a good time to institute the annual AS_S Hole of the year awards for 2009.
Now don’t get all upset and insulted this award is coveted by those who have received it.

The first step is to pick 10 finalists and from that group vote for the one you believe is most deserving. And just to prove it’s all in fun I will nominate my self as one of the ten finalists.

I nominate GSP. Seems like kind of a curmudgeon.

I nominate bagice.

Watch for the freshmen that are being redshirted this year. Theya re making their grades, getting bigger and acclimated to hte system, AND they can play.

The future is bright.

A big question also is how in the world did the coaches miss Kennemer from last year? That guy is a stud and he didn't see much of the field last year and he tore it up THIS year......how did they not see his potential?....

I am laughing  my ever loving sides off! 8)

Since the Webmaster bans the band postings to the Siberia board. I intentionally pulled Stallion's quote not to praise him but to keep the issue of the band going to Hawaii on the Football Forum. If you have been on this board long or from the old Mustang Maniacs board days, you know Stallion and I see very little eye to eye (the old coaching vs players discussion). (Although I do respect him)

Thanks for playing.....

Ryan Leaf was a head case which is hard to fully vet prior to draft day. His physical ability to play qb in the NFL wasn't questioned prior to the draft. Ask Vic Viloria what he thinks of June Jones' ability to spot talent.

He didn't think much of Brett Favre either. Look how that turned out. And before people say anything...Yes, I know he wasn't the HC(Glanville was) but he played a big part in getting him shipped to what was then football siberia, Green Bay.

Hey bozo the clown we are going to a bowl for the first time in decades why are you micro-ing our great head coach about any possible negative from decades ago? What coach at any level in any sport has not passed over a player that turned out to better than expected?
