I was the one in the blue shirt with the lei making all the noise, among the 55K empty seats

So I was off by 25K seats. So sue me.

I am sure in person it looked and sounded good. On TV it looked dreadful.

Well, it didn't look good in person, but it sounded great. That stadium's acoustic qualities really amplify the sound level.

well our side looked ok and sounded loud but the other side was sparse especially after halftime and the short rain shower. However, I have no complaints. It was and always will be a wonderful experience and memory.

Hey ask the players what it was like...our side was great and the camera's showed the wrong side as Nevada did NOT travel well.....we were loud and proud. The Hawaii Bowl said we were one of the best traveling team in years..it was really good and may not have showed well on TV but usually that side has the Hawaii fans who do travel well....LOL

No the CUSA skips a year I understand, so we play the reverse of the 2008 season on the East teams...so we play Central Florida etc. JJ mentioned that in the Lunch BTW

That's what I'm wondering...was JJ mistaken, or did CUSA change things up? JJ said exactly what ponyscott says...that we play the reverse of 08...but in 08, we were playing the reverse of 07

Thank God for those inside confirmation sources-keep up the good work. Can you confirm the color of the tip of your nose.

SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
