Just curious... about 30 miles west, in the panhandle west, or on the coast west?

You can probably add the "two secular private schools of the the Pac-10" as well!

Do we still have that SMU mentality...that we have to do everything just a little bit better and cleaner b/c of the DP??
we have a higher minimun core requirement then the NCAA, and Dedman passed it, w/o consulting the AD or coaches. I'd say there is a pretty serious disconnect
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.â€- Jalen Jones

Generally, when DP is involved you want everyone to take extra precautions to ensure things look better and cleaner.

1) The education school isn't operating at 100% yet. 2) In the state of Texas, you cannot "major" in Education.
I think I remember reading that they will have a PE major

All the answers to the tests are on the old tests in the back of the book. Plus you can use the book on the tests.
boom, 3 hours. I'll bet we could come up with 3 more such classes, and there you have a semester. Or do they only have to pass 9 hours to be eligible?
I remember a popular one was called "music the art of listening". not sure if it is still offered but it was money.

I think I remember reading that they will have a PE major http://smu.edu/education/aboutus/In order to fulfill this mission, the school offers Master’s and Ph.D. programs in education with specializations congruent with faculty expertise, human development and liberal studies. In addition to providing teacher education courses for undergraduates of the University, the school will establish degree programs in human development at the undergraduate level when resources permit. ------------------ Don't know what "human development" is but maybe that's what you remember?

So, the three names released by Rivals suck, but it's not the end of the world. According to the chosen few who are blessed with information, the causalities mean we're going 0-12, so that would men the 3 not named are big guns who catch the ball...
Let the speculation begin:
1. Al? 2.? 3.?

Must be nice to go to a sub-par academic U...I am sure that will pay dividends for the non-athletes in Ft. Worth...

As has been discussed on here for years, SMU for decades has had a higher core requirement (2 additional core courses) than most teams-however, the NCAA is raising its own core requirements by 2 in the next year or so-so I think SMU will have the NCAA core requirements then if they don't already-if anyone knows exactly please feel free to jump in.

"Sub-par academic u" - that is why you and your university are being left in the dust. Your c0ckiness out ways your initiative to be proactive. This is not 1970, 1980, 1990, or 2000 anymore. It's 2010 and TCU is ahead of the curve (pun).
