That and at least we don't have klan rallies before our home games.

Your sense of regional tribalism is sadly underdeveloped. -CoS
My family moved to Mississippi in 1773. So I am trying to be magnanimous to my toothless cousins.

That's a little over the line if you ask me. Ontheedgeofmyseat is spot-on, though.

If you look at our history of uniforms from pictures & videos, etc., you'll probably find that our use of "their" uniforms predates theirs.

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

Actually the Klan set up a tent a few times in the Grove (I think someone applied for the space under a different name) but Houston Nutt was not to happy about that. It was actually a pretty decent set up.

man that was perfect! The guy didn't last 24 hours. Reb, since I know you'll read this, don't take it too hard. After you lose to Alabama again, maybe they'll have a good season, and you can resume your annual role of finding vicarious joy in their success.

I didn't think the Ole Miss KKK rally thing actually happened, but turns out it really did in 2009. Guess I missed that on the news.

Just to be fair, I'll supply some background: Original story from Huffington PostThe KKK was onsite (and apparently grossly outnumbered by counter-protesters) protesting the removal of the song "From Dixie with Love" from their Band's music list. The Uni's administration apparently had it removed because they had chants of "The south will rise again" start with the song...

Can't we get off the race-baiting card??? This is so juvenile! Quit living in the past!!!
It's bad enough that this administration is doing it daily but please - not on this board!!!
