Pretty sad that your trash talk is about how our buildings look and not about football. But youre an smu fan so i dont expect much from you anyway, but its still sad. "your buildings are ugly" How lame does that sound really?!?!
At smu the talk revolves around building aesthetics.

At TCU we prefer to discuss which BCS bowl we will play in.

Its not trash talking, it is the truth, it really is a terrible looking campus...

I think we will cover whatever the line ends up, not the victory I want, but we are getting better and when this school puts its mind to it, we can do anything far better than TCU...

That is fact...

First trip down from the far away north and need a little convincing here. After watching and re-watching the SMU games, why is there so much confidence in the quarterback? I see a very slow release and a nervousness that will be difficult to overcome in this next match up. I see SMU being picked apart on defense and it reflecting in a lopsided score. I hope I am very wrong , unless Padron finds some confidence and throws the ball harder and quicker, SMU could have some tuff games. TCU 31 SMU 10

You can do anything better than TCU? like win football games? As for the campus i visited both and im pretty sure every other campus in the deep south looks like smu. At lease we have some uniqueness to our campus, better than being another face in the crown of college campuses. but i'll lay off the campus talk i dont want to start sounding like one of you. And you guys wont be close on Friday ala the Baylor game. Over by halftime. You are still 3-4 years away from being on our level. I do hope you get there tho so we can stop having this black hole on our schedule and the game can be a rivalry again.

PS im not going anywhere till after Friday so get used to it. There are a couple of smew clown on the TCU board and i dont think they will go anywhere either.

hate when the trash talk comes down to academics, safety schools, shltty campus buildings or bfe towns. we chose SMU for our reasons, they chose TCU for their own. And TT students chose TT because...well, I don't know why but they go there now. Let's talk football.

That being said...PR, when you get your name from a Prince song...well, i don't have to say it but I'd wager you have a rainbow bumper sticker on your Cabriolet.

pR, methinks this will be a fun game for us at least until halftime. Remember, y'all did not exactly put us away until the third quarter last year. In 2012, this will actually be a GAME. Lizards 41 - Ponies 20.

By your own admission SMU isn't playing as well as they did last year. Meanwhile TCU is just rolling people. We will run the ball through you. Your QB is no Robert Griffin and Zach Line isn't going to look so good against a team that's fast and penetrates the line.

The loss of Emmanuel Sanders really hurt you and your defense is not where it needs to be yet. JJ said that he needs to build up the offense in order to get the defensive stars.

Next 2 years will be closer games because TCU will have a freshman/sophomore QB next year and in two years you will have a home game with Padron as a SR QB.

This year however is going to be a blowout.

Not trash talk, just being a realist.

Rivalry game. Anything can happen.

Its a marketing campaign for TCU in the dfw area. You know the kind of thing that happens when your team is highly rated and highly respected. It might happen for you one day. Time will tell. if i drove a car of that caliber i would be a frat boy from smu. But like you said lets talk football.

I do think you guys would be better if the rb from last year hadn't left. What was he thinking, and where is he playing.

I think it will be fun for us more than anything, and as far as last year the conditions were awful and the game was sloppy on both sides. We are better on offense this year and it will be dry so we will see. I think our depth will get to you guys by the half, fresh legs in the back field against tired defenders makes for a long nite. With us breaking in a new qb next year it will be a game but at least its at our place.

Mcneal was dealing with a lot of family issues (mother is sick, has a young daughter), and academics. Based on his conversations with JJ, he decided it'd be best to "take his talent to the NFL," where I believe he is on the Giants p-squad. Hopefully, with Brandon Jacobs requesting a trade, he could sign with the big boys.

i think we miss E. Sanders more than anyone else..he was a consistent big play guy but also did the little things to keep the chains moving. Al Robinson can hit big time plays with his speed, and our soph wr darius johnson is coming along nicely, but feel like we are missing someting.

We're missing the guy we can count on to get open on 3rd and 7. Emmanuel was Kyle's safety blanket last year and he's having to try to find his way with who we have. As the season goes on I think we'll develop that security.
Back off Warchild seriously.
