right there with ya. Jeffires, Givens, Matthews, Maggs, Jones, Childress, Bubba McDowell, Chris Dishman, Mike Munchak, Bo Orlando, Webster Slaughter...to name a few of the last incarnates of the LuvYaBlue.

Three games that killed them, I think:

-collapse vs Denver during the playoffs when they shouldve won
-loss at home to the Chiefs & Joe Montana
-game that set the tone for the other collapses, "the comeback"

Marcello Sada is a poor man's Eric Estrada.

And Matt Szymanski is a poor man's Ryan Wolcott.

I never did understand why the NFL would not let the new franchise in Houston take back the Oilers name and records/history. Suppose that Bud Admans had something to say about it. It's so weird to go to a titans game and see a ring of Honor that includes Bruce Matthews and Warren Moon.

Re: Collapse vs. Denver - it's a no win situation. Elway runs for first down on 4th and 10 if you don't pursue or passes over your head to Vance Johnson for 35 yards and FG range. Losing to Elway is one thing - but the Reich disaster with the lead that they had is another.

Beasley does remind a lot of Welker, although I believe Brandon Stokley, who used to play for Indy and Denver is probably a better comparison. I don't believe that Beasley or Welker can run a true 4.4 and I think that Welker is a little quicker and has better hands than Beasley. My bet is that Beasley will never play much, if at all in the NFL.
As for being PC, if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and looks like a duck, it is a duck. It is clear that, in the very top level of athletes, Black people have more physical skills than White people.

Cole actually reminded me of Davone Bess.

yep. and, they said all the same negative stuff about Davone pre-draft and post-draft (he was undrafted). but, they love him in Miami. it's a good thing Parcells has a keen eye.
