On the graphic at the end of the game showing the standings, ESPN said SMU was "4-1, 5-3."

Wonder who we didn't lose to?

Key thing here with this Houston loss is that they still play Tulsa and USM, they could lose another, which means we could lose another and still go to the title game.

Beat UTEP tomorrow and turn up the heat!

UCF looks to have pretty much wrapped up the home field advantage for CUSA Title game since they have Memphis, Tulane on the Road and Southern Miss at Home left and at 5-0 (7-2) and likely at minimum 7-1 (9-3) they will have higher tiebreaker.

We do need that cushion with everyone expecting us to lose to ECU in the finale.

This loss by Houston puts 6-2 as good enough to make the title game very much in play.

We beat UTEP tomorrow and then a Tulsa win over Houston would be huge on our bye week.

THat would mean we would only have to win one of our last two (Marshall at home, or at ECU).

1. Beat UTEP
2. Tulsa beats Houston.
3. We only have to win one more to clinch!

Nothing for SMU is a sure thing, we prove that time and time again.

UTEP has seemed to Shut down though, they have been pitiful these last few weeks.

THis is a game we should win, but it will be tough, need to play well. UTEP knows this is probably their last chance to get to six wins, they lose to SMU and they will not be bowl eligible in all likelihood, they finish at Arkansas and at Tulsa and only have 5 wins.

You were looking at the line that said "Houston" on it unless I looked at it wrong, someone who is Tivo-ing should verify

We also need to start playing all 4 qtrs. If we take care of business and end up playing in championship, we need to go in to that game after solid wins - not getting by.

I still had sportscenter on and rewound backwards, you are correct, it listed SMU as 4-1 and at 5-3.

Good Catch!
