With the sophomore on-campus residences, can we go to 8-10k students, excluding gradude students? Seems we could expand the enrollment modestly and increase the on-campus experience, as a result.
Recently SMU announce the construction of a $125,000,000 5 dorm complex to house sophomores who will be required to stay on campus. I cannot recall what the housing numbers were for this project; however, it certainly can increase the enrollment by several thousand and will help with the on-campus experience as SMU has become a high tuition commuter school. This lack of on-campus experience reflects in the lack of student body participation in sporting events, alum contributions....etc.
