yes there are, one of my pledge brothers is on the team and his seen them with his own two eyes, just got off the phone with him and he says he's still not sure if they are wearing them though, Army will be wearing the "digital camo" helmets for the game, and there is a chance we could warmup in red, and come out in black.

I do think there's a point to be made as to JJ's trustworthiness. I stood in a room full of donors less than four weeks ago and heard him say "no black unis and that was just Internet hogwash.". I doubt he miraculously came up with this idea in the interim. Worth noting is Mr Ford was in the room when he made that comment. I don't think June needs to tell boosters every aspect of the program, but he certainly shouldn't be lying to alumni, boosters, Mustang Club or total strangers for that matter. Especially since every once in a while he's prone to drop some pseudo religious bs about why he came to SMU.

REALLY hope it's not an issue and that Coach Jones is an honest man.

Maybe it will be like the "BLUE OUT" at the U.H. game, the team didn't wear blue then, so

maybe they won't wear black for this and our fans won't either and it won't matter.

I would never boo the team. I did not boo them during the 0 fers and 1 fers. No bags on the head ever. I am not upset if the unis are black, just upset with the [deleted] poor reason given for doing so. It really insults my intelligence.

I hope our unis are BLACK because Santa brought my son a black SMU jersey this morning and he asked why it was black and not red. I told him because Santa must know they are wearing black for the bowl game. Stupid bookstore only carries black jerseys for kids. I am hoping there is a rhyme or reason for that and not just that SMU is just bush-league and poor marketers.
