The Tennessee search has gone silent. However, my Tennessee buddy sent me a note and said it seems that Orsini is not a real candidate at this point.

It could, as someone mentioned earlier, that he might be the safe choice if other big names don't move.

Not sure how you can get more official and definitive than that.

I have been told this too. However, S.O. was the headline guest at a Chicago Alumni function this past weekend at Arlington Race Track and he left after the first race (after only flying in on Sat. morning he hurried off to South Bend), this seems to add fuel to the speculative fire that S.O. may not be around much longer.

Does anyone know if the search firm being used by UNC (assuming they are using one) is the same search firm that S.O. uses when hiring coaches coaches?
