Boone Pickens Supports TCU to Big 12

Here's my thing with Pickens: I consulted for a school once that named one of their campuses after a prominent local family, in the hopes that by doing so it would encourage that family to give large sums of money to the university (keeping names out of this for obvious reasons). They never got squat in return. We accepted the gift of the geldings from Pickens' wife in the hopes it would draw them into being more avid supporters of SMU, in particular more monetary and PR support for athletics specifically but the university at large. We, likewise, have gotten squat in return. We took a gamble, we lost, time to move on. T Boone will NEVER be the vocal advocate we want him to be. That should be clear to everyone by now.
