trying not to get overly excited about talk of this "conditional" offer as so much has to happen for this to actually take place...and we can't forget the SEC is still out there looking for that 14th member that can/will start another round of musical chairs.

When all is said and done, Big East football could end up looking similar to the original CUSA, but as long as we continue moving eastward, that works for me.

all compliments to our current AD. Steve-O put all that stuff in place at UCF. he is about to become the hottest commodity as an AD. in the last 10 years, his thumbprint has lead to 2 schools going from obscurity to AQ w/ big splash coaching hires, facilities improvements, etc.

Can we stop the talk of SMU to the SEC. It's embarrassing. We weren't the first option for the BE. And the SEC can raid any conference they like. Enjoy the moment. Stop trying to figure out how to jump the BE ship before we join.

He was talking about the sec taking mizzou or someone that would set off a chain of events that would decimate big east.

If the SEC takes an ACC team, the ACC will backfill from the Big East and the only question is whether they take one replacement or take 3 and increase their size to 16.
