OK, PlanoStang, I'll leave the childish name calling alone, but I'll ask you two questions: 1) are you content with 6-7 wins a year and the real possibility of permanently being a second-tier football program in the very near future? If the answer to that is no, then question number 2 is what suggestions do you have to push it to the next level? You don't know squat about me, but at least I'm willing to try to be part of the solution if I can and address my concerns directly to people who affect the outcome. How about you?

Ryan - best communication I've seen yet of the frustrations felt by SMU fans (well, non-delusional fans anyway).

I echo all of your opinions and I'm gald somebody said it. I just don't want this letter to end up in the echo chamber with no real outcome/results.

If Hart does not reply, I'd send a more forcefull letter next stating your intention to publich in DC or DMN or heck, just post it on SBNation!

Kudos

I got an email back from mine. It was not an open letter so I will not post the response but I am satisfied.

Ryan - why don't you resend it? Every other day if need be.

This thread had gotten buried so I didn't see the comments from folks on Saturday. As an update, right now there is no update. I will re-send it to see if I get some kind of a reply as the fact is the situation is no different after the MSU game than it was when I originally sent it after Tech.

Worst case scenario, I could always send it to EJ if I don't hear anything; at least then EJ would have something to post written in proper English and spell-checked. :D

Tell him it will be easier on all of us if he responds via PF.com as we will be seeing it regardless.

You might want to add that you would appreciate his thoughts and comments. The letter makes many good points that are known by many but does not request a reply.
