Actually, I blame the administration.
You're blaming the administration for June not wanting to do an essential part of his job? Does not compute.

You're blaming the administration for June not wanting to do an essential part of his job? Does not compute. They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security

Re: AVG Attendance by school per AAC website
True, they aren't a large numbers. But current students and alums make up the folks the most invested in SMU. If those closest to the school aren't attending games at decent percentage, how can you expect those with no attachment to the school to buy in?
Re: AVG Attendance by school per AAC websiteWe have 40K DFW alumni...so 15K isn't shabby, percentage-wise...I think the effort required to increase it to 20-25K is exponentially more than it would take to get 10K additional Dallasites, with proper marketing.
Re: AVG Attendance by school per AAC website
The 15K isn't all local alums. Take out multiple tickets, out of area alums, sponsors, etc. and I'm sure it would be below 10K. That being said, increasing the attendance base to the 20-25K range by relying upon locals seems a tougher sell. Why would they be interested in buying tickets if the majority of local alums are not interested?
Re: AVG Attendance by school per AAC websiteI'd bet only about 3-4,000 actual SMU alumni buy season tickets

Re: AVG Attendance by school per AAC websiteYou think netting 25% of living, local alumni is bad?
